It is a season of anticipation for the coming of Christ, often celebrated in the weeks before Christmas.
God is concerned about your suffering. He is coming to save you. He will deal with those who have oppressed you.
This heart of stone doesn’t long for the things of God. This heart says, “Take away the bible from me. I don’t want anything to do with the word of God.”
We often make the mistake of thinking we are self-sufficient. Jesus is always more than capable of handling challenge. He is All-sufficient.
