Seek Help

The Bible encourages us to seek help whenever necessary. If we are facing challenges in life and need someone to counsel us on how to overcome then we must seek help. Be it any area of any situation, we must seek help when necessary.

But many often refuse to seek help because they think that they will deal with it on their own. They try to help themselves but fail. The truth is God, has created us in a way to be dependent on other human beings. He has created in a way where we ought to support, and encourage each other.

Proverbs 15:22 NIV
“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” –

1 Thessalonians 5:11 NIV
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” –

Let us learn to seek help, and even help others in time of their need.

Lord, I pray that you would break the thinking that, “I can do this on my own.” I can handle this on my own. I can accomplish this on my own. Open our eyes to see the reality that you have placed us among people whom we can ask for help in our difficult situations. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
