You are not defeated

You are not defeated

Listen to Audio Devotion

Good Morning, Welcome to a New day! I hope you are doing.

Due to work in Church and other personal commitments, we were unable to consistently produce the devotions, I am hoping and praying that from now on we will consistently send out these devotions every day!

Pray for us!

There are times in life when we live as though we have been defeated. We live as though all is lost,

I want to remind you through God’s word that you are not defeated. You have not lost the battle. But sometimes you may feel like it but your feelings like it but that’s not the reality because the God whom we worship is not the defeated one. He is the victorious one. and because he is victorious, we will also be victorious.

Romans 8:37 NIV
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Because of Jesus, we have the victory over everything. We are the victorious ones.

But often we feel defeated because we believe what we think and we believe what we feel. We believe our thoughts and our feelings more than the word of God. If we listen to our thoughts we feel defeated and lose hope.

You know the past few weeks, we were unable to produce devotions consistently. Thoughts started to fill my mind that I was a loser. I cannot do anything consistently. Sometimes I used to feel so bad that I lacked the motivation to write a devotion or articles. But soon I realised that I may face challenges or failures on the way that doesn’t mean I am defeated forever. I would often pray asking God to help me do this again. And God helps.

We may face challenges, or times when we fail but even in that we are not defeated. We will be victorious in everything because of Jesus.

Let’s Pray

Lord, we know who we are in you. We are not defeated but we are victorious. Help us to understand this truth and live by it every day! In Jesus’ name.
