Genesis 39:23 NIV

23 The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph’s care because the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did.

If we study the life of Joseph, although he was a favorite son, he was hated by his brothers, and later he was sold into slavery..from there he ended up in Potiphar’s house, and from there he ran away because of Potiphar’s wife.

At every stage of life, He faced troubles of all kinds – First, Troubles from his brothers and later in his master’s house.

But Here’s a beautiful truth, even though he faced troubles at every stage, the Bible says, the LORD was with him.

Joseph was a man who feared God in everything
Joseph trusted and was faithful to God.

So no matter what he faced, he was able to overcome every challenge and eventually become a minister in Egypt because the Lord was with Joseph.

I wonder if the Lord is with us. I wonder if he is walking by your side every day.

Lord, there are times when we fall short. There are times when we fail, we don’t fear nor trust nor are we faithful because we are carried away by the circumstances. But Help us every day to Fear, trust, and be faithful to you. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
