Our feelings often lead us away from God’s will, convincing us that we are in control. However, true fulfillment comes from submitting to Him, not our emotions. Instead of following fleeting feelings, we must pray daily: “Not my feelings, but Your will, O God.”
Often it’s so easy to set aside, discipline for the sake of personal comfort, or an extra hour of sleep but eventually, it brings disaster upon our lives where we end up failing at even the basic tasks.
