Don’t worry about Failures

Don’t worry about Failures

Listen to Audio Devotion

Good Morning, Welcome to a New day! I’d like to share God’s word with you and it’s taken from

Genesis 45:5 NIV
And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.

These words are spoken by Joseph who by now is a Governor of Egypt but his life wasn’t this good all the time. Joseph was a favorite son of his father and because of this the brothers were jealous. They were so Jealous that they got rid of him by selling him into slavery.

According to the brothers, Joseph was a closed chapter and Jacob thought his son is dead. But in God’s plan, something amazing was happening.

What we often see as a significant Loss, defeat, and the greatest failure…is actually a great victory in God’s sight.

Joseph tells his brothers, these words, “Do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.”

I don’t know what failures you might be experiencing today but remember in God’s perspective you are being prepared to accomplish a great purpose.

If Joseph weren’t sold as a slave, then Israel would not have existed as a nation.

Genesis 45:7 NIV
But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

So don’t worry about what you are facing today! Remember you are fulfilling God’s great purpose.

Let’s Pray

Lord, Help us to embrace failure and not be discouraged by it. Because in everything, you are fulfilling a great purpose. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
