We have been talking about the cross being a sign of hope. We said the hope of acceptance, a hope of bonding, a hope of cleansing, and today we’ll talk about the hope of deliverance in John 8:32,36, we read like this and you shall know the truth. And the truth shall make you free.
Therefore, if the son makes you free, you are free indeed. The Bible very clearly tells us that when Jesus will set someone free, they will be free. Indeed. When we look at human life as evil has been multiplying, the bondages also are multiplying. When we look at the people around us. When we look into our own personal life, we see that there’s a bondage to the internet. There’s bondage to pornography, there’s bondage to Facebook, to WhatsApp, even to Harry Potter, to PUBG games. Many are longing for deliverance, but they’re not able to really find a deliverance in their own strength. I have a message for you. There’s a hope of deliverance in Jesus Christ because when he sets us free, we will be free, indeed.
Christ’s death on the cross has the power to break any bondage. Jesus, the bondage breaker can break and grant deliverance to anyone who would call on him in truth. Would you be free from the bondage of sin? There’s power in the blood of Jesus. Are you struggling? Are you in bondage? Then this message is for you.
There’s a hope of deliverance only in Jesus Christ. People are trying various things to find deliverance, but let me tell you. They have to come back to the cross of Calvary. There is definite deliverance in the name of Jesus.
Can I pray with you?
Jesus, I thank you that you are the bondage breaker. I thank you for the bondages you broke in my life. I pray for all those who are listening to this devotion, my brothers and sisters. If there’s somebody who’s struggling, Lord, in the name of Jesus, I pray that they will be deliverance. Lord, when they look up to the cross. I know, Lord, that they will never be disappointed. I pray that the Lord Jesus with all his resurrected power would grant a complete deliverance that they will celebrate, their walk with you. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
