2 Chronicles 20:12 NIV
Our God will you not judge them for we have no power to face this vast army That is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you

This verse touched my heart so deeply when I read it for the first time That every time I experience something challenging, something where I feel clueless, I don’t know what to do.

This verse comes to my mind because it reminds us that in life, we will always face challenges and times when we will not know what to do, but we worship God. Who can do all things in any way at any time he wants and more than anything He’s the god who gives us victory when we face a challenge when we face a situation where everything is going to fall apart What can we do?

How can we go through the situation? There’s only one thing we can do. That is, we can just set our eyes on God. Because the moment we set our eyes on God, victory is imminent. Victory is at our doorstep. Because when we set our eyes on God, we are saying, God, this is something that you have to deal with. I cannot do this on my own.

Because the moment we depend on God, we will experience victories in life. But the moment we say, I know what to do, I know how to deal with this, I am smart enough, I, I, I just don’t need anybody’s help, that is when we begin to face one after the other failures. We have to come to a point every day, every moment in our life, where we say, God, I don’t know what to do.

I don’t know how to deal with this, but you deal with this. My eyes are fixed on you. When we set our eyes on God, God will never fail us. When we put our hope and trust in Him, He will never let us down. So as you begin your day today, I encourage you to set your eyes on God. You may be facing an impossible situation, and maybe your prayer is like what this king is praying, that we do not know what to do.

I encourage you to just set your eyes on God. And God will help you.

Let’s pray.

Father, you are the greatest help. You are all that we need. And even in the most pressing situations, challenging situations, you know that you will take care of our lives. We thank you for everything that you have done for us. Thank you for leading us this far in Jesus’ name. Amen
