3 Rules to be Successful, Part 1

Listen to Audio Devotion

Good Morning, Welcome to a New day. We hope you are doing well. We pray that as you listen to God’s word, God will bless and minister to you through his word.

Over the next three days, I’d like share with 3 rules to be successful.

Here’s the first one.

  1. Always Acknowledge and Honor God.

Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

This is what it means to Acknowledge & Honour God.

  1. Invite God into everything that you do.
  2. Invite God into everyday life and conduct
  3. Seek God’s counsel in everything.

As human beings, due to the fallen nature it is often easy for us to act on our own independent way. At times, we may feel that we don’t need God to really help because we know what to do. There are times when we may even fully trust God but may not acknowledge him in everything we do.

The Bible calls us… Not only to trust but also to acknowledge him. Which means, we invite God in everything we do and seek his counsel at every step.

The result of that is,

He will make your paths straight. In other translations, it’s like this.. “He will direct your paths.” This means, God will guide along the right paths, according to his will and purpose which will help us become successful in everything we do.

Remember this, Success in life comes by acknowledging and honour God. If you wish to succeed then acknowledge God in everything you do.

Let’s Pray

Father, help us put you first. Help us to glorify your name in everything that we do. Help to acknowledge your presence and seek your counsel in our day to day life. In Jesus name we pray
